Deborah ~ Thank you for your effort in Supporting Our Troops! I was reading your posts, so I see you have a son in Iraq! Where in Iraq is he? My niece is at COB Speicher, Tikrit. I honestly never thought I would see the day when a young girl or she is now a woman would fight for our country! Guess that tells you my age!! I hope your son is safe. I am getting ready to send my first "care package" to Meggie. I don't know if you know or not, but you can get a special box at the post office made especially for sending care packages to our troops, it's the same size as a Large Flat Rate Box, but it's less expensive to send, so if you are sending on a regular basis, make sure to ask your post about it. One of the soldiers wives on the blog, Becky, told me about this and I went to Post Office and sure enough, it's less expensive, so that way you can add more to the "care package"!
I will be posting for the "Support Our Troops" Day Blog Event on Friday, March 20th, so please stop by and see what I will be sending.
May your son be safe and return home to you and your family soon!

I was a dancer seems like a hundred years ago. I once owned horses and rode with the wind. I've skied Black Diamond trails and avoided the moguls. I am the sum of all that I have experienced, but don't add me up yet; I still have a few numbers to throw in! In The Autumn of my life, embracing it with abandon.
Recovering widow; there IS life after death.
