Walk on Water

All the love I'll ever need
is right here in my heart;
I spent a lifetime looking
and it was there from the start.
I found the love of Jesus
in losing my pride
when He torn down the walls
behind which I'd hide...
When He saw my sins,
and He saw my shame,
and in spite of this
He called me by name
and He said,
"YES.
I CHOOSE YOU.
I command you,
come to me."
And there I was
in the middle of the storm
walking on the sea
and His eyes were all I saw
and His Love was all I felt...
I lost myself in White Love
that was hot enough to melt
even a heart of stone.
And the pain that I had known
exists no longer.

Hi Deborah,
I just read your post to me. This one made it . Thanks for dropping by.
I very much like your poetry. I wish your son wasn't where he is. Blessings upon his health & safety. It sure looks like you and your daughter enjoy yourselves.
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I share the same birth month, just a year before you. Cyth

Hi Deborah,
I'm following Vanessa's Rabbit Trail and it landed me here. You are a true sweetheart with a gentle, but quick tongue...I like that!
Have a wonderful day!
