Nothing like the relief of a soldier's homecoming! Nothing at all can touch the flood of relief it brings. My boy is a soldier and though he is a man, I remember him as a boy in shorts and cowboy boots, playing safely in the yard. He grew to fast and my illusion of being able to protect him slipped away...

Hello my darling friend Deborah,

I'm so thankful to hear that PFC and all his buddies are back safely. I was praying off and on all day long and it was a long day, let me tell you!!!!

I'm going to bed now, but will check on Milo's adventures in the morning.

PS. It's so sad that you only lost 4 oz. Had you lost 6 I surely could have squeezed you in my carry on...hee hee!!!!

Much love, me ;-)

I'm so relieved and happy for you!!! The job and worries of a mother never end no matter how old or how far they stray from the nest. You are a remarkable woman and mother. I have so much respect and gratitude for the soldiers and their families.
All my love and smiles-jj
