It is a beatiful spring isn't it! That is a wonderful capture. Blessings all over you!
Thanks Deb. I have a face I made a while ago that I use, I made a mold of it. And depending on the way I handle it or the color I antique it with, determines the way they look. They all look like different faces but they are the same one. Sculpting faces takes me awhile, so when I get a good one I mold it.
deb, no lead in to politics but all i can think of when i saw this post is the battle hymn of the republic:
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord: He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword: His truth is marching on. (Chorus) Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on
this was written by a woman--julia ward howe in 1861 and i have known and sung it for most of my life.
okay, my friend, i am starting to scrunch. no patriotic song written by a strong woman? no cheeseburgers offered to a weight watcher wannabee? what's next? no, don't tell me. let me find out for myself.
Good morning my pretty! I love spring buds and sprouts. They are the most beautiful and promising images in this world, better that the images of the Democrats and liberals trying to undo what we have accomplished in over two hundred years and in a short time, making America an insignificant country. It's a lovely day today. I am painting and doing laundry.
I was a dancer seems like a hundred years ago. I once owned horses and rode with the wind. I've skied Black Diamond trails and avoided the moguls. I am the sum of all that I have experienced, but don't add me up yet; I still have a few numbers to throw in! In The Autumn of my life, embracing it with abandon.
Recovering widow; there IS life after death.
