My friend, Manon

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting my Blog Buddy, Manon, while she was visiting the Sonoran Desert.  We had lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe in Scottsdale.

aboutus_3 The salads were delicious and the conversation flowed as if we were old friends.

Well, one of us IS old.

And it’s not Manon.

Not only my Blog Buddy . . . my friend Manon.

(We did not coordinate our outfits; that’s just how we roll)

Manon is a very gifted artist . . .

Go see!!!

Ooh Deb, I agree with Milo...HOT MOMMA!!!
It looks like you too went out for a fun time. Do they serve any pink drinks in that lovely restaurant?

Milo has some sweets for you too. I must put them in the mail.

Oh good golly! There certainly was heat in the desert, and it sure wasn't the sun. Look at you two hot hot hotties! Woooooohoooooo! You both have such beautiful smiles. Aaah, happy, happy, happy!

YOU look like models!!!! And you do not look old, so you might as well just forget those words. They don't even belong in your head or your vocabulary at all ;)

I am dead serious!

Oh and, I adore you, did I mention that lately?

You both look gorgeous! I would love to join in on a lunch with you both :) I went and had a look at Manon's artwork....beautiful ladies that she creates, wow!

It's Friday and you both still look gorgeous. Deb, Alice must be as tall as you are then? Oh my my model height women!

Ces Adorio said...

Oh my! I will be short of breath walking with you! Am I short for 5'4"? I think I am shrinking as I age so I may be 5'3.5" now? So my cellulite ridden legs will definitely beat in the hot desert sun. I think I am falling in love with you - non-brokeback of course! You can have everything I have!

Hello, You two ladies are so lovely. I love these black dresses on your white skin. I just visited Manon's blog and her galirie website. I will visit again. I sure hope and trust you two had wonderful conversations.
Lovely days

Okay, I just suggested to Manon we should meet under Dominic Ingres' painting of Princess Marie Josephine de Broglie at the Met or better yetvacation in NYC. Isn't that your old hangout? Many short people there, I will blend.

Hey Lovely- i am with kj-how do you get your arms so toned?
You are gorgeous.
Both of you!

Anyhoo, Milo update on the blog!

deb, you didn't have the nerve to be truthful about your arms on your blog so you tried to pass off misinformation on my blog. rhonda roo and i know what we're talking about. you have the arms i want. that's all there is to it.

not to mention your smile....
