Blue Skies

army mom

I am an Army Mom.

Even when a mission runs longer than planned,
I try to stand as strong as he does.
I see light filling darkness.

I pray for Your hand of protection
upon their boots,
upon their Kevlar helmets,
upon their body armor . . .

Upon Their Hearts.

And I pray with you, that they will come home soon but while they are out there in the field may God and the angels keep them safe.

And I will stand and kneel and prayer with you and for him and you, my darling friend and your brave son. May God keep watch over you both.

Much love, Cori
