A Thankful Family

There were only six chairs at the table this year, in comparison to years gone by when we would have twenty-three ... with the older cousins marriages came the splitting of the Holiday ... Mommy and Daddy could not drive down from Utah due to health reasons this year, but pinkie- promised they would be here for Christmas.
I finished the table runner just in time for Karli to take with her to Fort Hood on her visit with her Bubba . . . so PVT Ryan was present in spirit and thanksgiving.

So much to be thankful for . . . we are truly a blessed family . . . so much love.
My sister-in-law and I had a wonderful time cooking all afternoon . . . Bourbon turkey, Martha Stewart Sweet Potato Souffle, acorn squash, garlic mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, and three different desserts. Apparently we forgot we weren't cooking for twenty-three!

Gizmo is very thankful for having Bear to keep him warm.

As for me, my children are thriving with bright futures ahead of them, and this is all I need.

Blessed be God forever; blessed be His Holy Name.

What beautiful children. But what could one expect after seeing their Mama.

I love the idea of writing on the tablecloth. I am going to do that.

I am, yes I am.

Love Renee xoxo
