Dear PFC Ryan

July 4-1

This is what the 4th of July at home looked like without you.

I miss you even more on holidays.

july 4-2 Just in case you could not read it . . .

ARMY STRONG.

Our family is strong, super glue strong.

july 4-3Over done?  I don’t think so.

Good grief.  It’s difficult to keep the little ones out of the pictures.

july 4-4 Yes, I decorated every corner in honor of you.

In honor of our American Way of Life.

In appreciation of our Abundance.

july 4-5 Even peanuts on the bar!

Would you believe that once the party started, we forgot to take pictures.

I find it difficult to believe that it has been ten months since I have physically seen you or hugged you.  Looking back, I had you for such a short time.   It seems that life went from having two babies with days that were 72 hours long, to watching the days slip through my fingers as I tried to hold on to them.

Mid Tour Leave coming soon to my neighborhood.

And Boo, no dancing on the bar top when you get home.

AWWW Awwwwwww!!!!

This post is giving me goosebumps! It makes me so proud and sad at the same time. Proud to be an American and in the American way of life. Proud of the soldiers who dedicate their lives so we can enjoy our freedom and liberty. They even protect the rights of those bozos who hate the military and yet depend on their services. This makes me proud to know you. I am so proud of young men like PFC Ryan who love their country. I am sad because while the place looks full, happy and colorful, it is missing a very important person. I hope Deborah you know that I am forever grateful to the US soldier. They saved our country from the atrocious Japanese army during World War II and they continue to fight for our freedom by dedicating their most precious personal resource, their lives! God bless PFC Ryan and his family!

It is not a private blog. It's a blog I started long time ago that I need to take out of circulation but do not want to release the title because some online drug dealers use the old blog name to direct web users to their sites. The header drawing is part of The Abecedarian Series. Thank you. I will start thinking about releasing these drawings to the public.

Dearest Deborah!
What a fun surprise to see your comments! I AM STANDING BY YOU in waiting for your love to come home. My husband has just been gone one week... I can't imagine 10 months. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH. I was reading your post about your daddy. My goodness, life is beautiful. Though he doesn't look like the man you once looked up to, he is still a large figure in your life and thank God you can see that. What a sweet photo of him and his bunny! That was a powerful post. Fondly, Anita

Hello again you sweet thing you! Thanks for visiting Nocturne...the photo of the little rat is from the web; this morning I attempted to take some pictures with the old camera (my husband took the Coolpix) and I can't use it! It is not working. I have a Beanie Baby rat that has quite a personality. He is in love with Miss Moussie from The Garden of the Dutchess. Her and I go back and forth with fun and imaginative stories about our little friends. I love fairy tales. The Tea Rat is super cute---perhaps you saw him in the previous Nocturne post, writing in his diary! Anita

Deborah this is beautiful.

Private Ryan I think that you have earned dancing on the bar top.

If you want, you go for it.

Thank you for your prayer Deborah, I believe it too.

I am so excited that Ryan will be home soon. Thank God.

Love Renee xoxo

ACK! Help! I am melting! I am drowning, Aaaaaah...

hello! I am buried with work. ACK! ACK! ACK! My brain is muddled microrganisms with Latin names. I have 156 programming lines to go before the end is over. These are not simple lines, multiple layers with many individual values that I have to write, ACK! ACK! ACK! If I get this done this this evening, I shall reward myself by blogging with my favorite bloggers, otherwise, it is to the workhouse for me! You are so sweet. You are fast becoming one of my very few favorites which I can still count on one hand! So there!

Sorry for the aweful story but for some reason my old friend was on my mind.
Are you busy getting ready for Ryan's homecoming? Silly question! I so wish I could drop by the Cantina party on my way to Oregon. Oh hell what's another 600 dollar plane ticket-ouch. I'm taking my son out to get him settled for a collage internship. I waited to book the tickets kind of hoping he'd find something close to home- it cost me dearly!
Have a good day!
