Underneath the same big sky . . .

somewhere

“Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of you and loving you tonight.
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer . . .”

sunset 2

Dear PFC Ryan, may angels guide you on your mission and may the Lord, God, hold you in His hand of protection.  Tonight I will be standing in the back yard, looking up at the sky and singing what once upon a time, long ago, was our favorite song from the movie “An American Tail”.

“And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky.”
It’s just a different time zone in Iraq.

(paraphrased from Somewhere Out There,
written by James Horner, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil)

I always have Ryan in my heart and it is funny that you mention Mary because I always pray to her in connection with Ryan and say 'Mary just as you loved your son, we love ours.' Please protect dear Ryan.

I will meet you under the sky tonight.

Love Renee xoxo

OMG Deborah, now every time I look at the clouds, I will think of Pfc. Ryan and say a prayer for his safety! I shall do that. You are a wonderful and terrific mother and a great friend. May Ryan come home to your loving embrace soon. I love you! TSUP!
