Burning Questions of the Day
1. Why won’t my low-end fully automated digital camera let me focus on the Tree?
2. Could Santa please bring me an SLR digital camera for Christmas?
3. Why does the wee little baby fish that hubby found in the pond not look like a koi? Did a rogue fish jump the fence and impregnate one of the koi?
4. Will the mommy fish need to go to therapy?
Just wondering . . .

Deborah, this was just the kind of post I needed to read this dull, rainy morning!! I'm laughing about the rogue fish!!! :)
As for your camera questions...I sometimes have similar problems and I too have asked Santa for a more advanced camera. Here's to us "remaining good girls" until the end of the holiday season!! :)
ROFLMAO!!!! Welll, that must be some jumping rogue fish!!!!
As to the camera; even with my *good* Fuji (which is not low end...) I will find certain things it won't focus on. Usually it has to do with the signal it sends out that bounces back. I cannot focus through glass, there are certain shiny things it won't focus on, and looking at the pic, my guess was the tree lights --OR-- the white on the tree. Not enough contrast.
I would know none of this if I hadn't tried (I repeat TRIED) to read the manual the other day.....
These are the moment I miss my old Rolleiflex, the light meter and a couple of boxes of 120 film......
More than you want to know.... <:)
XXOO!!
Anne
P.S. Have Santa really really research any new camera....
Hi Deborah!!! the photo looks wonderful...but you may have to move the camera around to get the right thing for it to focus on...
I have to start getting into the holidays....Cole and I hung up a bunch of really neat snowflakes since we are longing for snow...so we can make our first snowman!!!
Hugssssssssssss

Deborah, I can't stop laughing! And the picture is so pretty even if the camera is not focusing on the tree.
My burning question of the day lingers on whether I should have an extra croissant this morning, with all the holidays and recommended food intake coming up.
Hugs

Thank God. Okay, head home now.

Always remember that what counts is the person behind the lense -- not the camera itself. :)
Hugs,

Oh my! An illegal fish! Maybe someone ate the fish!
I don’t see dust snow…
Let me tell you. I have a Canon SLR, that shoots bursts of 10 like an Uzi! It’s the official camera of Sports Illustrated magazine. CHACK-CHACK-CHACK-CHACK-CHACK. It has a 16GB memory card YET when I need a macro shot I rely on my 10MP Canon Powershot EOS. You will still need a macro lens for the SLR. I love my Powershot.
Oh my burning question, I forgot: Should I keep holding my bladder or should I run now? I am so busy!
Hahahahah! BTW, How many of Manon's cards do you have? How many? Does she love you more than she loves me? Hmn?
Haha! I have enough Manon cards to pave our street!
Back at you sister! I am using mine to cover all the walls of my house and use the rest for window blinds!
Arguments aside have you seen her fiery painting? She is inspiring me to paint gain.
Well, I just talked to her and she said she is painting portraits of Daisy and Snowflake!
Hahaha! I love you too! The next painting that turns out to be something I like, I will send your way! Hahaha! I adore you. You are my beloved sisterfriend!
OMG Deborah...Ha Ha Girlie...LOL...Kisses and hugs ..I enjoyed that laugh. Will put a note into Santa for you about the camera.
xoxoxo
Eh. I camouflaged them Deborah and some come in the form of larvae and pupa. Thank you.
Hi Deb! Maybe a bird flew over your pond, and just at the righ moment, dropped in your little rogue fish! Or one of your koi is an imposter!!! Have a great weekend, my friend. The village is looking good!
