The Day After

100_2192

It was a De-Lovely Thanksgiving for us, small, yet grateful for so many things…

Grateful that The Lord, God, had His Hand of Protection upon our son this past year, and that our son has grown into a honorable man with strong convictions…that he has become so much more than I ever hoped for in a son.

Grateful that our daughter is such a fine human being with the most generous of hearts, grounded and clear-thinking with equally strong convictions, and the beauty and grace of an angel.

Grateful for our honored marriage vows, for through the difficult times, those vows were what we clung to, and each other.  We survived The Storm.  We have come full circle.  We are in a state of Grace.  So much more Joy to come.

Grateful for God blessing my parents with a long life…thankful for this extra year I have had with my Daddy.  Grateful knowing that hubby’s Mom was seated at The Table of the Lord with a full, clear mind, surrounded by those who passed before her.

100_2200 Oh so grateful for the blessings I have received through the connection of the human spirit that I have with all of you, my beloved friends.  Meet me tonight on the second highest mountain in Debville, at the Wandering Moose Bar and Grill

Drinks are on me, my dear friends.

Ah, there he is. One of the luckiest men on earth, your husband. :)

So much to be thankful for, lots of prayers answered. I'm glad to see you so beautiful and happy this Thanksgiving.

I'll be at the Wandering Moose! Earned a good bit of change from sitting on my corner at Debville, too. The second round's on me.

Ah this is coming so beautifully but could never counter your beauty. You are so CUUUUTE, so LOVELY, AAAWWW! What a beautiful family you have.

I don't drink but at this rate and with Bella buying the next round, I will be sure to indulge in a rousing cheer of friendship and love!

I am so lazy. The Christmas tree is in the box on the floor and it is not moving by itself and won't move because I have a rush job roasting nuts for one sweet lovely sisterfriend!

Linked here from Meredith's blog. I esp like your comment about the marriage vows. I believe the vows keep us together when feelings may fluctuate. God knew what he was doing when he required commitment! Good thoughts here! wb
