The entry to a holding pattern is often the hardest part for a novice pilot to grasp, and determining and executing the proper entry while simultaneously controlling the aircraft, navigating and communicating with ATC requires practice.
We’re in a holding pattern. A time of waiting.
Much like my patient little friend.
Oh sure, there are lots of things going on in the garden, special days to celebrate, but really, nothing compares to waiting on a baby.
Not even born, and already she is the center of our world.
Two weeks and counting . . .

Oh what joy, to be waiting for the birth of a baby! There is nothing better, is there?
We've had a bit of a baby boomlet in our family this year -- one boy, one girl, and twin boys too!
Thank you for your dear comment about my Dad, and his generation. I know what you are going thru, watching your Dad fade -- it's almost as if we watch them sort of dissolve, and it is heart wrenching. My best wishes to you in this time of both great joy, and great sorrow.
It's the price we pay for loving, isn't it? And how lucky we are, to have such loving Daddies.

What an exciting time. Enjoy the fun times ahead! XO Martha
Oh, I remember that precious time when my sister had her little boys. She couldn't wait for them to arrive, but also enjoyed the peaceful time when they were still in her womb. I bet you can't wait though!!! :-)
And I hope that your parents are still able to stay in their home with each other. What a love story - to the end!!
Love and hugs! Silke
OMG.....it seems to have gone so FAST Deb....but I am sure from your end, it has not.
Praying this holding pattern will be a time of peace and relaxation and joy for all at the *Deb and Milo* household.... ;-)

Two weeks! Aaaaah! I love this time of anticipation. I hope she enjoys every minute of being pampered until the little one arrives.
I had to laugh at that photo. Doesn't it look like the pale green part in the middle of its head is a human face? Like an old man? Wearing a dark green helmet? Heeheeehee
Oh My but what a beautiful winged creature. I was so enamored with him that I forgot to read your post...oops!
