Where My Feet May Fail

Day Four of my Brawny Man in the Hospice Unit for uncontrollable pain.

We are in a very strange limbo;

limbo, as in the Catholic theology meaning,

the edge of hell.

Grace sustains me.

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
[x6]

I will call upon Your Name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine

This IS Hell...for you, for your Brawny Man, for your Family..you probably feel like you are treading water in the middle of a vast Ocean...

Try to keep your strength up...Gary needs you to be strong while he completes this Chapter of his Life.

We are all here for you...the mind can travel distances in a second..
Our thoughts and prayers are your life preservers...grab on..let us help you float through this storm of pain and sorrow. My Renee Candle burns all the time for you both.

Love and Strength - always,

♥ Robin ♥

Deborah, Robin said so eloquently in her comment... "We are all here for you...the mind can travel infinitesimal distances in a second... our thoughts and prayers are your life preservers...grab on...let us help you float through this storm of pain and sorrow." You have to be strong for your "Brawny Man" to help him walk through this chapter and to the next... your love will always sustain you... now and forever!
I am sending Giant hugs and love and prayers for you both...
Beth

This is a very hard time of life for you and... I am sorry. I hope you can take some time for you... for a cup of tea, a quiet bath, a short walk. Something to ease your mind and your heart and I pray you have a friend with you so you are not alone. When my sister was on hospice it was round the clock care. Exhaustion and fatigue can do a number on your sanity so take care of yourself.

Deb, I am reading what thought for the day has said above me and I so agree. I hope you take moments for yourself and I hope family and friends are nearby. You can't go through this 24-7 without breathing out too

I am so so sorry. How real and unreal.

You will be okay, deb. I know you will

Love

It is such hard work to die when you are not ready. I hope with all my heart that his pain will ease, for that must be the hardest thing to see. Wishing you strength, always.

I had you come to my mind the other night in the middle of the night, praying for you as I know your life is so incredibly hard right now.
I pray you have and can find some peace, some comfort and some alone time along with some precious time with those you love. It is a hard road for sure.
