Step Three

For the past few weeks I have been joyfully awakening to
new growth ... we planted Dichondra seed
between the stepping stones.
All this sowing of good seeds
and stepping stones
got me thinking about self-dissatisfaction ...
how I tend to judge myself and my imperfections,
for I only see what I want to become...
and am blind to any good growth I have accomplished.

Step Three: Accept myself exactly as I am
at this moment in the
History of
the Kingdom of God.
God does!

Hello Deborah!

It's so nice to meet you. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. Poetry comes in varied forms doesn't it? Something for everyone.
My sister-in-law and brother-in-law live in Gilbert, AZ! I know it's beautful out there this time of the year. We are still a little cold in NYC. It's only in the 4o's today.

I love that! It looks like the perfect place to tip toe barefoot on a warm summer day. Soon very soon. Love your post. I struggle with acceptance and my accomplishments every day. Today is one of those days- your post was perfect. Thanks
