All is NOT well in the garden

This is Mr. Bunny.
Not to be confused with the REAL Mr. Bunny
who lived in my garden for ten years.
Regardless, I love this Mr. Bunny a lot.
I found him on clearance
and spent one summer afternoon
many years ago painting him.
He is looking a little faded.

Imagine my utter SHOCK
as I waltzed out to the garden this morning
and witnessed

THIS:

**weeps**

I quickly retrieved a small notebook
and began conducting interviews . . .
searching for witnesses to this vandalism.

The usual suspect, hubby, rolled his eyes . . .

Suspiciously.

Baby Doll is not home.
Boo Boy is in Iraq.
Hmmmmmmmm.

I am printing up flyers
and posting them about the neighborhood,
putting the word out there . . .

There is a Bunny mutilator on the loose.

Oh! Sad and funny all at the same time. Sweet Mr. Bunny, I'm sure he's in need of some tender loving care and maybe a bit of glue perhaps ;)!? What was Officer Bill up to? Did you interview him too? Maybe O. Bill was merely cleaning Mr. Bunnies ear and "poof" it fell off, but then it does look perfectly placed on the brim of his hat. Dear Mr. Bunny is probably such a loyal guy that he would never tell who his assailant was. Bunnies are like that you know...gentle, loyal, and never hold grudges. Well almost never :0!

I hope you have a lovely day!

Hmmmm...could it be a REAL lurking bunny that was just too tired of his ever too perky and snowy white ears?

Yes, Sherlock...I am sure of it!

Hee.

I'm giving my two cents on the case.

I think one of the animals knocked him down and hubby stood him up.

Happy Mother's Day and I hope that you get to see your dear daughter today. And happy and loving thoughts of your son.
