It’s a Magical Day in My Neighborhood

100_2227

Paul was feeling a little homesick this morning, so he brought back some

SNOW!!!

Paul was so filled with JoY that could not be contained,

That I didn’t have the heart to enforce the NO SNOW IN THE  HOUSE  rule.

Now for the magic part . . . I’m MAKIN magic!

Adventures in CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!

I see Paul! I see Paul! Did Alice see Paul?

Oh Deborah, I love you. You make me so happy. I promise, when I am finished with the series and I make prints, I will send the first set to you. You are so kind to me. Thank you for inspiring me. You are so special to me. I just posted a photo of Daisy and Snowflake in the melting snow.

I see PAUL!!!! I love your decorations, Deb! Isn't it funny how seeing someone else's Christmas decorations just makes you wanna sing? Okay, I am going to sing a Christmas carol, so close your windows. haha xox Pam

Oh so darling and very very Merry! I don't have a "no snow in the house" rule...can Paul bring me some of yours? Oh! It's snowing at Disney, but I've yet to see it...maybe Sunday.
I hope you have a lovely day darling Debaloo (your name has grown which means you are even more endearing to me then before).

xoxo Cori

Deb, I so love seeing your decorations...what joy. I won't be doing any of that this year, bah humbug, because I'll be in Austin with my family, 3 kids and 4 grandsons, however, I did put up a Christmas candle!

I promised my family last year I would fill up my home for Christmas in '09 since we had nothing for '08...my father died Dec. 19th of last year and I never had time to put up Christmas...it was very sad, but it's a different year and the start of new traditions...have Christmas Eve dinner, get dressed up (darn, and I had just purchased a Grinch T-shirt for the occasion)...my daughter wants it to be as close to Christmas Eve's from passed years when my father was still alive and he was our heart of Christmas Eve...this is our homage to him...will miss the elf suit, a red sweat top and green bottom! We looked forward to it every year, then the grandkids and later, the great-grandkids.

Anyway, you have much to celebrate...sending you lots of love and good vibes your way...and if Anne is going to drink while Pam sings, I want in!!! LOL

Snowflake loves the cold! She loves being outside. Deborah, you may even take her during your morning walks! I don't think Daisy eats snow, it was new to her so she was very curious. How was your trip to the mall?

AAh, it's wonderful that you lifted your snow ban for Paul. It's magical. Paul, you can bring snow to my house any time!

Haha! I bought Susan Branch's calendar. I love her illustrations and her lettering. So an idea came to mind. I am going to make a handmade calendar using Elie and her gang. So I may end her series so I can make a calendar or two. I have no clue what to give to loved ones for Christmas. Would gift cards or money be too blunt? In today's economy, money is always welcome, what do you think? Tsup!

Wait! wait! I am not sick. The Little Girl is sneezing, not me. I can't get sick. I have so much to do at work.

Oh last night the little girl was crossing the river. I heard she fell off some ravine. Crossing my fingers, I hope not.

I'm loving your magic and Paul-so cute! Ryan where are you? I know it takes time but I'm soooo impatient. I can only imagine your excitement. I'm envisioning you skipping through the grocery store, singing while pumping your gas and giving a huge tip to the sales girl (me) at Pottery barn- oh that's right you don't shop in Michigan. Hee he....
