Me too! Me too! I was with my parents this last December in Arizona and one of their neighbors rode by on his bike after dark with battery operated christmas lights twirled around the handle bars and a dimly lit nativity scene in his bike's basket. They laughed and he was having so much fun. It struck me how sometimes the elderly can be childlike in their simple, I don't care what you think of me, joy! How fantastic. And he was 92. Ah to be so lucky!
I was a dancer seems like a hundred years ago. I once owned horses and rode with the wind. I've skied Black Diamond trails and avoided the moguls. I am the sum of all that I have experienced, but don't add me up yet; I still have a few numbers to throw in! In The Autumn of my life, embracing it with abandon.
Recovering widow; there IS life after death.

Everyone else can become old...let's stay young at heart, what do you say? :-)

I have never felt the need to grow up, and surely am not even considering the possibility NOW!

Me, three! There's a happy ten-year-old living inside me. Except that my outer stuff is wearing out a little - lol! xoxo
My inner child demands equal time, and I'm glad!
